Terms and Conditions

By paying the deposit agreed for your chosen services, you agree to the "Terms and Conditions" below, understand, and accept the terms and conditions described and you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all terms, policies and guidelines incorporated in the Terms of Service by reference. If you do not agree to this Agreement, you should not use the Services (as defined) in any way. The Services are offered to you conditioned on your acceptance without modification of this Agreement, including without limitation, HC Make-up Artistry’s right to use all data collected and analysed by the Services.

Securing your booking

The booking of the event is only reserved once the client has paid a non-

refundable booking fee of 30% of the total amount agreed.

Payment

Payments can be made in cash or via bank transfer. The non refundable booking fee of 30% paid by the client is taken off the total fee.

Client responsibility

The client shall inform the make-up artist of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to sensitivities, allergies, and medical conditions.

The client shall inform the MUA of any issues or changes to make-up/hair within the appointment time. You will be asked during your appointment - failure to inform - we will not take any complaints or give refunds once our services are complete.

The make-up artist cannot be held liable for any losses or damage that is incurred due to the clients failure to inform the artist of any known condition.

Photography

The client agrees by allowing the photography that the make-up artist may use any photography for publicity/promotional purposes, which include but are not limited to the make-up artists website and social media pages.

Travel expenses 

The client will cover any necessary travel expenses of the make-up artist as agreed at the time of the booking. This is to include, should it be required. congestion charging and parking charges. 

Travel within a 5 mile radius of our location will not be subject to charges. Mileage outside of this radius is charged from 0.50p per mile.

Client cancellations 

The client can cancel the event any time up to 14 days before the event by informing the MUA in writing. The make-up artist will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until the point of cancellation as the booking fee and all deposits are non-refundable.

Cancellations by the make-up artist due to circumstances including but not limited to; problems rendering performance of their obligations and where no other suitable alternative can be given, will result in a refund to the client.

If the booking is directly affected by circumstances beyond the control of the make-up artist, every possible endeavour to rectify such situations will be made. However no compensation will be offered on the make-up artists part.
